Three international non-governmental organizations (NGOs) have said they have submitted a "petition" to the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva calling for the renewal of the mandate of the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Iran. Representatives of the organizations in Geneva also handed over the petition, with a report on human rights violations in Iran.
